russell e. waldron photography
Russell E. Waldron Photography was launched in 2008. The photographic subjects on these pages are varied and often, if not always, influenced in some way by nature. The current images were shot with a Nikon D200 between January 2007 and present. The photos are shown as close to “as shot” as possible. Post processing is accomplished using an IMac and Aperture 2.0, www.apple.com. Annoying or distracting features (overhead wires, etc.) were cloned out of a couple of the images. Others have been cropped to improve composition. The galleries will be updated with new photos as regularly as time allows. Color slide scans (Fuji Velvia 50 & Provia 100, Kodachrome 64) from years past might be added as well.
If you are planning an event or have a particular subject that you would like photographed and you don’t have the time, energy, skill, or patience to do it yourself, please give me a call or drop me an email. I’d love the opportunity to capture your memories, passions, or interests for you as well. If you like what you see in the galleries and would like to purchase some art to hang on the wall, simply choose what moves you, contact me and I would be happy to have it printed, matted, and framed. Be sure to reference the gallery and the DSC_File No. or _DSC File No. associated with the image (SCN_File No. for slide scans).
With regard to photographing people in public settings or at public events, I adhere to a strict rule of respecting anyone’s wish not to have their image appear on the Internet. If your image appears anywhere on this site and you would prefer that it does not, contact me and I will remove the photograph. Photographs of individuals are available for license or distribution only with permission of that individual, a model release, and full disclosure as to how the image will be used or redistributed.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy viewing the photos as much as I enjoy capturing them. Constructive thoughts, opinions, and critiques are welcome.
