A wetland ecologist by profession, I have also been an avid photographer since the seventies.  Much of what I shoot is found close to home in New England but I will venture as far and wide as time, money, and opportunity allows.  I enjoy capturing the infinite images and fractions of time that life offers up and have decided that it is time to put some of them out there for the world to see and maybe make some extra money in the process.  My favorite subjects are found in nature, abstract forms (natural & man made), and people but everything is of interest and in everything there exists a photograph worth capturing.  This is my first go at having a website.  I did it all myself using an IMac, IWeb, Aperture 2.0, .Mac, www.apple.com, and NameCheap, www.namecheap.com.  

I am available for photo projects of just about any kind including  individual, family, business, or environmental portraits; family, professional, or social events; photo journalism, photo essays, editorial, architecture, local sports, small product photography, or art for the sake of art.  Most of what I shoot is “on location,” so coming to you or fitting into your schedule is not a problem.  I can provide you with the results in whatever form you would like (prints (framed or unframed), CD, DVD (with or without music), photo books, etc.).  Prices for services and products can be found here.  I don’t do the printing, matting, and framing myself.  There are professionals out there who are true artists and craftspeople at those trades, www.janesframes.com.
